Dear Linda and Naturalcare Company ... We'd like to make a statement about Joint Armour, the NZ Green-Lipped Mussel Powder. We have a 12 year old German Shepard-Husky, mix, Bandit, who obtained a back leg ankle injury chasing wallabies in his youth and it has had regular flare ups, evidenced by his limping and tripoding. He has had steroidal / anti-inflammatory shots a number of times when it flared up, but the effects were always relatively short in duration. We were given a recommendation from a close friend and horse trainer in the Scenic Rim area of QLD, to try Joint Armour Green Lipped Mussel Powder. We took her advice and purchased some and added it to his evening meal, once a day. Within a month or so it appeared that his limping had greatly subsided, especially after long walks (which he loves) he didn't have his noticeable limp. To his evening meal we also add a single fish oil capsule (human consumption grade) to compliment the Joint Armour. It has been a wonderful combination and we are very delighted we took the advice of our friend. Our pooch hasn't gone into tripod mode since. And, no more steroid shots, either!
